Search engine optimize domain names
Let’s start with what’s important about domain names and what we need to know.
1, the words used in the domain name.
2, where the market is you are targeting IE: what country it’s in,
3. What country you Registrar that domain name in.
The words in the domain name
Look at most big companies and their name is NOT made up from real words
The reason is for branding that name to their products or services this applies so much to domain names it’s untrue
So if at all possible make up a name and use it, yes you can brand real words but it takes so much more work.
If you want to use the dash symbol “-” between words you can but I would only use one at the very most to keep it from looking like spam, you may also use numbers
You should look for a top level domain name for your intended country market
You can find a list of TLD names at wikipedia.

If you want to target a UK based market get a .co.uk domain name (and if possible a cheap matching .me.uk domain name)
If your market is USA based get a .com name or a .us one (and if possible a cheap matching second level domain name)
We will need the second level names later so without going into details now keep that in mind.
Before you run off and registrar your domain names make sure your registration company is also in your target market country
